Total Commander - Part 1
Total (with love), is a powerful file manager, in this post I want to briefly tell a little story before have the benefits of the program.

In the days of DOS, where everything had to type it ALL today that tipean, make it more for fun or for not needing a graphical interface, otherwise the mouse and knowing where you "can" do much the same.
File management was very routine, copy / move back and forth, delete, create directories, etc., to copy or move something, the ordinary was going through the origin and destination point, then go to the destination and continue what was doing. However, in that golden age (from 80) was born on soft that significantly improve the work of this type, its name: " Norton Commander "(or better known as NC, by the name of the executable" nc.exe "), which to vary as in the entire history of computing / informatics happened was an improved copy of other, though of several this was the best position as they had many more features than the rest.
The main concept which was based on having two windows showing different directories in each of them and providing basic operations such as copy of a "side" to another (window) and something you had in particular was the use of function keys (Fs: F1, F2, F *), which certainly at that time my keys were brand-new

I get windows 95 (also Windows 3 .*) and where to "everything" was required or mouse context menu! .. what is that to copy and paste?, really try to adapt but it was easy for me was a big waste of time to actually manage the files with the mouse and copy and paste, not to mention the dizziness that had sailed among many windows 
, Then look for alternatives, Winfile Windows was basically was a double file browser, improved one, but it was basically the same. I decided to use NC (which was only for DOS) within Windows, and so happily lived for a while (had several limitations, but ... it was something)

On a warm afternoon of November 97, sitting under the shade of the roof of the house ... I met the commander version 3.02 of the total, only three minutes late in adopting and maintaining the functionality of the old NC, but all in and windows From that moment I still use it today. Do not even migrated to Linux definitely not have the total commander! ... Not clear games Really I can not live without ... (ummm I never imagined so express and publicly!) Even before I install the drivers every time you install windows! (My machine or others )
