What is Twitter?

Twitter emerges as a tool similar to a blog but in which we limited our number of characters per article to write 140 letters. It resembles a box where we place our "status" (as in the MSN Messenger or gTalk) where you write briefly your current mood, what are you doing, a thought or phrase. Currently links to blogs or share news, photos and videos.

Just do not get it! To which I use?

Throughout the remainder of this report, we'll try to answer that question. Many people still have never used Twitter ask if there blogs, instant messaging, Facebook needed this new service. The reality is that Twitter introduced new concepts that did not exist and it was so strong. On the one hand to have a limited capacity forces the text you type to be concise and to the point. On the other hand there are new definitions and roles as the "followers" (did not exist before) and explain a little better below.

New concepts: followers and real-time news

Unlike Facebook, where two people to contact both must be accepted, on Twitter you can follow another person without her to be our "friend". That is the concept of Follower. And we can go to many people and others may be interested in following us and what we say in our tweets.
The other concept that was born with Twitter is the real-time news and created or reported by the same twitter. I will explain, when the service won an important critical mass of users and still be able to tweet from your mobile phone, began to broadcast news and developments long before they appear on TV or radio. A good example was when a plane crashed in New York , where the accident was covered in real time on twitter, that is, as I went through the people who were in the vicinity of the place. Facebook Vs Twitter

If I have Facebook, you need to have Twitter? are not the same? Answer: They are not the same. While there are social networks because we link with various individuals and share comments and opinions are very different. One of the differences and said and lies in the connection between users is not necessarily bidirectional and Facebook. Also Twitter is characterized by very simple: a short text, perhaps a link and go. Facebook is a cluster of services: upload photos and videos, events calendar, online games, polls and much more. The simplicity of Twitter makes it very practical for use from mobile phones to read so as to update the state of their own.

Twitter was born in early 2006 and was gradually changing and there were improvements. A very interesting feature that emerged by the users themselves were the "hashtags." The hastags are labels used to identify the Twitt and it is used and character #. For example could be used # music , # movies or now it is increasingly common to see job search tags with # employment . They are very useful when real-time search and filter information.

In conclusion we can say I do not know specifically what it is Twitter, you probably have several different functions depending on how each person uses it. But perhaps generalizing a bit longer because of what we described above we can say that Twitter is an online communication tool, bounded and concise.

If I could convince you, at least a little bit, that Twitter serves and is useful for something, you can start by going to twitter.com and create an account with your username. Recommendation: record a short name!.

The most popular sites and Internet applications, we set limits, restrictions, conditions and ... the audience loves! We are talking about millions people around the world, thousands of individuals who adhere to and consume these border services. So ... is there a key? What place should be offered free to bars?

Will users eventually are like a caged bird, which used to be fed and happy in inches cubic meters of space?

OLÉ I do not read, I read READER!

Most of the people around us in civilization read a particular newspaper (though there are others who do not read anything), such as general news daily with " Clarin "," La Nacion ", or something more timely and athletics " Olé "(newspapers in Argentina), another sport is Playboy (they say they talk about games melee type, only practiced by women, although men who have no other sport is more manual literature)

In general news publications as you read on average?, I of a diary of 100 pages, at most 2 full pages, therefore 98% of the newspaper does not interest me (and if we speak of the waste of paper ...), my friends mostly read sports publications such as "Ole", but I do not (although I like sport in general, do not practice now and I have no interest in reading something related).

What I really like is obvious: "Technology in general," the issue is that there is no daily publications with information on technology .
And this applies to specific issues, there is no paper publications of these issues, such as: Cooking, Theatre, Series / TV, Boliches gays (many of my friends: Cordoba, Dino, Nacho, The Chinaman, and many more) and so on.

As I can do to be informed of specific issues?

RSS is a "protocol" communication standard for the dissemination of content among different Web services using XML, the highest utilization is where produce / publish content periodically, in other words, suck it pabote content of any site (permitted).

RSS: Really Simple Syndication, is a simple format.
ATOM: Same as above but with more technical information and normalization.

Twitter is a system of microblogging (between us a concise and flexible blog mostly). Basically consists of writing you're doing, with a limit of 140 characters, or ... the objective is not to explain much, but to the point. The term microblogging (also known as nanoblogging) is only sending texts, but this obviously includes links, which can be shortened by some sites that deal with it as if tinyurl that basically will generate an alias for a very useful web address shortened by limited number of characters which imposes twitter .
